Olympic Dreams

Well, it's official. We declared for 2020 Olympics. What this really means is we filled out some paperwork to let Equestrian Canada know our intent, it does nothing to guarantee or help us get a spot. But, it makes it real, it makes my dreams be something I can and need to talk about, out loud. Sammy and I have a lot of work ahead against so many outstanding competitors, and I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE ADVENTURE TO BEGIN!

A big fundraiser was held at the exceptional Juniper Hill in Lake Country, BC, to help make this campaign to the Olympics a reality. The next six months ahead of Sammy and I will require a lot of travel, training, and competition, as well as being away from my clients and income. This fundraiser made a world of difference to how I will be able prioritize my training and competition over the winter season. I am so grateful to Linda Sjoman and Anna Hunt Binkley for their hard work and dedication to making the fundraiser such a success!

We are working on creating other opportunities for our friends and clients to support us in this journey, watch this space for more information soon!

We've been in the media a bit lately with our big dreams, you can have a look at articles in the Okanagan Woman Magazine and also in the Brandon Sun newspaper! It's an honour to be recognized by these publications, the support I've had from the lovely people in both the Okanagan area and Brandon, MB has been overwhelming.
