Dressage at Devon 2017 was an incredible show for the All Points Dressage Team. All of the horses took the unique and intense Devon atmosphere in stride, as though they had been there many times. Eiren could not be more proud of her boys and their outstanding results! Bacary, Lisa Smith's five year old Oldenburg gelding (also known as Bart) dominated the FEI Five Year Old division winning both classes Thursday and Friday. There are too many top qualities in this horse to write down, he is simply amazing. Godot SSF, Scot Tolman's six year old KWPN gelding, was also a star with a second place and a win in the FEI Six Year Old division. Eiren is constantly in awe of how easy the work is for this horse and his incredible character was proven again at this show, competing for the first time under the lights like it was old news. Bellamy, a four year old Oldenburg also owned by Lisa Smith, had very good results, finishing 6th in both very large and competitive Four Year Old classes. He was unfazed by the atmosphere and turned out to be something of a crowd favourite judging by how many people came up and spoke to Eiren during the show with heaps of praise for this horse's movement, type, and character. Warello, Eiren's own 14 year old Canadian Warmblood, exceeded all expectations with a 4th place finish in both the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special. They showed a significant improvement in scores since their first CDI in June, and are now very much looking forward to the Florida show circuit! These boys all finished their competition 2017 season in style! We are so thankful to the wonderful owners for trusting us with their fabulous horses and their support in competition! We also couldn't shine without the support of our sponsors, thank you so much to Devoucoux, Foxden Equine, and Le Tack Truck for everything!
